CEUs available for BPI, engineers and loop installers

Bloomington, IL is the Geothermal place to be on March 10-12. Register now for the lowest registration price for the fourth annual Illinois Geothermal Conference in Bloomington.

Things start Monday morning, March 10, with a pre-conference seminar on proper HVAC/geothermal system sizing and duct sizing and design. Jerry Faw of Adtek is the primary instructor. Joining Jerry will be Brian Kumer of Thermal Imaging Systems, who will cover duct pressure testing and the Illinois energy code requirements on ducting, and Jeff Hurst of Connor Co./ClimateMaster.

Registration on March 10 begins at 9 am, with training starting at 10 am.

Then you will want to join with vendors, GAOI leaders and friends on the trade show floor for a reception following the seminar.

The conference kicks off Tuesday morning with registration opening at 8 and the trade show at 9 am. The conference officially starts at 10, with more than 30 concurrent sessions following over the next two days. There is training in four tracks for geo dealers/contractors, engineer/architects, loop installers and utility representatives.

The Illinois loop installer certification exam will be given during the conference, following a review session.
