Join us in Collinsville next week for the Illinois Geothermal Conference on March 11-13, 2013. There is a tremendous Engineer/Architect track of training at the conference — and continuing education credits forms will be distributed for credits for all participants.
This year’s attendees will have a chance to win a new iPad.That’s the registration prize that will be given at this year’s conference.
The Gateway Center at Collinsville is the location for this year’s conference. Rooms are still available at the next-door Doubletree Hotel.
Cover your registration costs by completing the Workforce Development paperwork and get approved for funding to receive a $125 rebate for the conference registration.
You’ll find all the links and information for the conference at gaoi.org. Just click this link and then click on either of the RED conference links on the home page. The agenda for the conference can be found on the registration page.
We have a great conference lined up this year, starting with a pre-conference seminar for utility personnel on Monday, March 11. The cost of this seminar is $30. You’ll find a registration form for this separate pre-conference seminar along with conference registration information at gaoi.org.
During the conference itself we’ll have everything from case studies of geothermal conversions in historic buildings to an overview of 40 case studies of successful geo installations. There will be sessions on geothermal financing, new energy codes and geothermal hydronic applications.
The GAOI accreditation exams will be given at the conclusion of the conference on Wednesday, March 13.
We have accessed a Workforce Development grant again this year to underwrite the cost for GAOI member-organizations to send their people to the training at the conference. The Workforce Development funds will refund $125 for all Illinois attendees who take the training at the conference sessions. There is a pretty simple registration process. The forms can be accessed along with the conference registration information on the website.
Do what more than 100 of last year’s participants did — fill out the forms and have your registration cost refunded by Workforce Development.
