Popular geothermal heat pump trainer and speaker Jeff Hurst of Connor Co. will kick off Getting the Dirt on Geothermal, the new online training series of the Geothermal Alliance of Illinois and the Iowa Geothermal Association. The series will provide online presentations every second Tuesday of the month at 2 pm. 

THE VERY BASICS is the topic of Jeff‘s presentation. He will present live from the Connor Co. training lab in Peoria where he‘ll dissect a geothermal unit and talk about the various components, how they operate and what can go wrong... with installations and troubleshooting. 

NOTE:  This IS NOT Jeff‘s extremely popular troubleshooting training, which has been presented at various geothermal conferences, including the Illinois Geothermal Conference. Jeff will be presenting the troubleshooting training session at both the Illinois and Iowa conferences next spring. This presentation is much different. The session will be very worthwhile for new or relatively inexperienced techs (on geothermal systems), or virtually any HVAC staff in need of a good overview of the operations of a geothermal heat pump. 

Once registered you will receive a link to the webinar and after the webinar, you’ll receive a link to the recorded session.  There is no charge for members of Geothermal Alliance of Illinois and Iowa Geothermal Association.  Not a member of either association?  Join your state’s association and save! A non-member fee is $25 and will go towards membership.
